It began with a loss.
Stoic Tarot was created by Bobby Taslimi in memory of his brother-in-law, a man who met hard things with a steadiness that stayed with everyone who knew him. In the grief that followed, Bobby kept returning to the Stoics, and to one old idea: we cannot always choose what happens to us, but we can choose how we meet it. This brand grew out of that belief, that grounded wisdom, moral clarity, and inner discipline still matter, maybe now more than ever.
Why Stoic, and why tarot.
Most tarot promises to tell you what will happen. We care more about helping you see clearly and decide well. Stoicism does not offer an escape from hardship; it offers strength inside it. Paired with tarot, it becomes a way to slow down, name what you are really facing, and find your footing again. No fear-selling, no fantasy, no telling you only what you want to hear.

For anyone who wants to sit with the cards on their own, we made a deck worthy of the practice. Designed by Nikoleta Pantechou, it weaves Stoic philosophy through classic tarot, with medieval iconography and a thoughtfully inclusive hand. It is made as carefully as it is drawn: FSC-certified papers, food-grade inks, renewable energy in production, and fully recyclable, because respect for the craft includes respect for the world it comes from.
